To my knowledge they've never had enough space in one facility . .

The Co Co have always been spread out all over the place, sometimes this is necessary like having an office near the dumps, recycling centres, machinery yards, etc. but the Aras building on the Mall is actually not that big when you total up the square footage and it is a low structure and has to house features like the Council Chamber.

Wexford Co Co recently completed their new all-in-one facility, we probably won't see public construction like this again any time soon so in the meantime it's probably best to house employees in buildings that need to be maintained for historical purposes too (like the Imperial).

One thing the council could do is maybe setup an efficient call centre to handle customer queries (maybe even outsource it to that company that they share the building with in Moneen), currently you can get bounced from one dept to another and you'll rarely find anyone in a supervisor capacity that will make (or is allowed to make?) a decision.

It should be call - frontline support - resolution or escalation - resolution or decision.
