Kathleen Lynn was a phenomenal woman, a patriot, and true visionary, an unsung hero who has not been given the place in history she deserves. A social activist, a suffragist, a republican, patriot,a Sinn Féin TD, leader in the Easter Rising ... it was in the medical field that she is renowned; playing a key role in the eradication of TB, founder of St. Ultan's, the first children's hospital, she gave everything to eradicating the poverty of children and women in tenement Dublin.
