I prefer to think of those comments as satirical rather than Sarcastic, however you are entitled to read to what ever way you want.
The point I was trying to make was that it seems a bit over the top to me for people to be claiming that the lake loop walk was akin to the Serengeti with Lions lurking in the long grass or some New York ghetto complete with canine Gangsta's I was merely highlighting this hyperbole.
