It's great to see swallows dipping and diving in the back garden again. It's been cold for the last few days (although dry enough too apart from the odd shower) but the bright early mornings and the sun hanging in the sky until nigh on 9pm if not later makes it BRIGHT bright bright - kinda in your face so that you can't ignore it. Old Sol is still heating us up regardless of the winter of recession.
Of course it could be just global warming and the sun's heat is multiplied up to the power of n.
It looks like a private company are soon going to be offering round trips to Mars for an affordable cost. You sell up your house and belongings and raise enough cash - quarter to half a million euro which most middle class people are worth when dead - and spend a year or so en route to the red planet. It depends on whether they can mine enough fuel on Mars to power the ships back to Earth. Nice trip for somebody who is due to retire soon and of a certain age?
