I know how you feel and I left the church because the priests and others told the girls that I was a loser, from a broken home and would be an Irish drunk, and leave her and the children. Well I became a pioneer and didn't get drunk, been married 42 years and the girls, some have been married 4 times. It is still real.
I was at my grandson's Confirmation sunday as a 4th degree honor guard of the Knights of Columbus. Our chaplain, a monsignor did the Confirmation. Can't say his name, but the house keeper at Knock had the same last name.
We will have a new Bishop-elect David J. Malloy, in Rockford, Il. My mother was a Malloy. I wonder if he is a cousin. I have to watch it on tv because I didn't sign up for the honor guard soon enough. It will be a wild times because it is at the Metro center in Rockford. I am to old to drive in that crazy traffic that day. The knights will have to be van or bused into the center. culater
