Dear Jack The Lad. You seem unrepentant. In fairness to you I think the 'slur' to the late gentleman was unintended, but one should read and consider what they have written before posting. If you look at your current post,it would lead the reader to believe that children are still being taught to swim in the lake at the present time; we all know that is not the case. Your comment about allowing "your child to be taught how to swim by a unsupervised adult in a country lake" in this particular case, is misinformed. At the time, a very shallow part of the lake was used, and it was cordened off for safety reasons. As for being unsupervised, the lessons were given in the presence of parents and the general public. So JTL, when you are in a hole stop digging, just apologise for your error, and for the unintended hurt it must have caused to the family; I'm sure they will understand and forgive you.
