Twothings of many, which I am disgusted about at the moment and I believe they should be changed with immediate effetc:
1. All elections/referendums should be held on a Saturday, thus allowing those away from home to vote and also allowing schools not to be disrupted. Hundreds, maybe thousands of schools have to close on election day, which is scandalous in my opinion.
2.Nobody in the public service civil servants/teachers etc. should be rehired, even at a lower salary scale, if they took an early retirement package. Full stop. It is sheer nonsense to claim that they have to be re-hired to ensure "continuity and expertise" in their respective place of work. With so many out of work, it's about time that we called a spade a spade and be more courageous in the way we run this country.
