Well Barbarian, I bet you feel better after your little snipe at the church. There were no masses in the parish churches but the whole point of the mass in McHale Park was to get as many as possible to attend mass together, a communion of the people; I think it succeeded very well.The time and other factors did not suit all of the people, there were difficulties- some did not attend because of family problems with small chidren, others because of sick relatives, and I'm sure there was a host of other good reasons.I did not attend because of medical reasons, but I did get to mass in another parish where I met several people with similar and other problems. Remember Barbarian, the Lord said "where one or two are gathered in my name , I am there"; he did not appear in the photographs but I'm sure he was there.
