I was at the Mass in Mc Hale Park and I say well done to all who organised it. It was a lovely event, and the work and preparation by all concerned, including those in charge of the venue was very obvious. Even the weather was kind.
The ceremony itself, the choir, town band, schoolchildren and the priests and teachers involved all added to the occasion and I say congratulations to all and thank you.
