Perhaps you're right about some businesses not holding a rosy opinion. However, if the receivers continue in the business, I'll bet you there'll be no business left, what with their astronomical fees, lack of interest and passion to succeed, and in the end , the local businesses who may be owed money will probably get nought. If Pat and Mary were there, there'd be some chance of getting something back and working things out.
It's extremely tough in business at present, and everyone is suffering, there are no exceptions. For my tuppenceworth, I'd much prefer to have Pat and Mary at the helm, bringing life and passion to the TF and theatre and salvaging as much as possible. It's a very specialised business, the entertainment side especially, and I hope and pray that something positive can be worked out, so that it can get back on its feet for the sake of this town, all its suppliers, all the patrons who have enjoyed such wonderful shows and the ancillary businesses who benefit down the line, like taxis, b&b, retailers etc. It's a huge loss to this town and hopefully it gets back on its feet with the rightful owners at the helm.
