My reading of what Cllr. Kilcoyne said was people were parking on double yellow lines and in disabled bays with no badges on Sundays and this is true as I as a disabled badge holder can never get a space on a Sunday. Also all the carparks are not free, you have to pay in Dunnes car park and I have seen the Traffic Warden there on Sundays he was there at Christmas, issuing fines.Hopkins Road and Cavendish Lane are just impossible to drive through on a busy Sunday with people parked on the footpaths and yellow lines.
I think Cllr. Kilcoyne is right surely they could get the Traffic Warden to work on Sunday too.
Oh the car park at the Library is free to accommodate Council staff I guess.
