Liam, I just read your post and went to have a look at the grave. The gravestone itself has been sandblasted and the writing on it is clearly legible. The area around it has been nicely paved. The stone in front, which I think you may be referring to was discovered in the Moore family graveyard some years ago and it was placed there last August.I agree with you that the inscription on it is well weathered but I am not sure sandblasting will improve it. I will speak with the Town Engineer for an opinion on it. Thanks for bringing it up anyway.
