What is not generally known Danny is that Rev Ian Paisley visited many Catholic families who lost loved ones in the troubles in his Constituency my late Uncles family one of them, and they never forgot his great sympathy and concern for them, God Rest his soul as you said
A man who had his faults yes as we all do, but who knew how to leave past in the past and shake the hands of those he did not like but work for peace. There is enough bigotary as flyboy mentioned sadly even in Mayo I have seen it directed at other minorities and from those who should know better but let them without sin cast first stone Rest in peace Ian
