well said, its not ago there were posters on here complaining about young people on the streets! for Gods sake wake up you cant force employers to come to Castlebar, no matter how many carrots you wave in front of them, Castlebar is a great town in its own right, and i was not born here, there are towns and villages all over Ireland where the young people have left, and there not coming back peroid, many who have left these shores are doing what millions of young people are doing all over Europe there voting with their feet and seeking employment and a place to start again. Now we will have to wait for an upturn in the world economy, the days of promising jobs are gone, real jobs will return when the world economy rebounds. small local towns will suffer sadly i feel it myself walking through the town, but i have seen this state of affairs in small towns and even cities all over Europe the younger generation have moved away and can you blame them? the world does not owe Castlebar a living we are going to do what all those other quiet towns do, get on with our daily lives and do our best and stop wishing we were in Dublin, if firms go to Dublin they see its advantages they dont want to be in West of Ireland so there is nothing we can do to change that its called Life
