An awful lot of words above but no facts on the claim that banks have in some cases deliberately lost money as you claimed. Unless you can provide the offer and eventual sale details of the single case you mentioned ?
Irish reposessions are extremely low by international standards and its natural that as they increase the emotional family home argument will get attention. However the fact is the banks were bailed out by the state and if they are not allowed recoup as much as they can from problem mortgages we'll lose money a second time.
