Dear Mark. If I told you all the nights I lay awake worrying about things that never happened you would be amazed. I resisted going to a doctor for ages but eventually saw my GP who advised me. My advise to you is get out and walk even though it may be an effort; don't be too hard on yourself; and remember you are not alone, people do care. Try not to overdo things and tire yourself too much. This time of year is a very difficult time for anyone prone to depression no matter how mild.
Mark, you will get better and look back on this as just a bad tiime in your life, you will also have learned to be more sensitive to other people's feelings. Make this the first day of your recovery, relax, it's hard but you will learn.
