Who is G. Keane? If you are referring to Kevin Keane, please make sure you have your facts straight. As I understand it, and I am open to correction, Kevin Keane's sending off was overturned as it was decided that his infraction was not worthy of a red card. On the other hand, Connolly got off apparent because due process was not shown to him. It goes to show that the counties with the resources behind them to challenge sanctions to the DRA, which is akin to a High Court injunction application, will benefit. Everyone could see what Connolly did on the pitch. How his previous actions on the field, and indeed off the field where he was convicted of a serious assault on an innocent party but avoided jail, did not count against him, I'll never know. The photo from the drawn game of him placing all his body weight on the jaw of Diarmuid O'Connor is shocking.... and the Dubs claim that he is role-model for youngsters in Dublin? That says a lot about the future prospect for those youngsters.
