So our biggest trading partner has decided to leave the EU. This is going to have huge consequences for Ireland and Castlebar.
The town economy whilst struggling had been picking up in recent times.
Now that it is more favorable to purchase in the sterling area things will suffer.
It is now way cheaper to purchase big ticket items in the North or the Mainland.
I appeal to people to not be blind and not to buy stuff in the cheap sterling area and shop local. Keep purchasing in Tesco / Harvey Norman / Lidl /Aldi / TK Max in order to save local jobs.
