I'm afraid WB .. you are Wrong on all your points -
I didn't accuse the Co. Co. of creating 'False Results' .. if you read my post correctly .. it turned out that the 'readings' in this case were 'misread' or found to be incorrect after the Boil Notice was issued .. and the Co. Co. did the correct action based on the initial information they were given.
The 'error' they made was not declare the 'error' earlier .. and I do ask .. why not' ??
In relation to buying bulk advertising .. you must be havin' a laugh .. there isn't a local Newspaper in the country that could agree such a deal with Co. Co's .. as they can't 'hold' spaces in upcoming issues just in case the Co. Co. are going to submit an advert at the last minute.
I know for certain that the Co. Co. arrange for local advertising on a continual need basis .. submit an advert as required. They do not arrange 'tender rates' for upcoming years .. unlike they have to do with other suppliers of services to the Co Co.
They pay for adverts by way of invoices received from the various papers .. and these advert rates vary considerably between newspapers.
Why did this error 'Boil Notice' advert go to print in one particular newspaper after the Boil Notice was withdrawn .and not in others ?.
