Back in June of 1996, Seanie Corrigan and meself attempted to have a glass of Guinness in every pub in Castlebar (Starting with a pint in Jerry Tolsters), apart from a few setbacks (The pub in Market Square, Cannons? not serving us because it's "been shut for years"!!!! and someone sidetracking me with a bottle of Woodys in McCarthys) we got as far as Paddy's (RIP, God bless his memory) before running out of time (That was our excuse anyway). I think that was pub number 18 and there were about 16 more to go which would make 34 not counting The Hotels and The Airport and Hogs Heaven and Heneleys which weren't open at the time.
So there for ya. Jays we even have a tape somewhere which we made on our crawl.
