: A would be expert advised me to take all my savings out of the Credit Union before December 31st this year to avoid the risk of having them deletted from their records, He said I should put them in a proper bank for a few days and then return them to the credit union after all the Y2K stuff is over acording to a gentleman on the Eamon Dunphy show "the last word" this will be well into the 2nd half of the year 2000, in order to miss the Leap Year problem too.

: Can some one from the Credit Union Assure us that our savings will be alright. Has any independent financial institutions audited their IT systems, there is no point some one saying were OK if they can't prove it.

Does the same logic apply to loans with the credit union, if thats the case I'm head'in down there for major loan 'bout November timeframe.
Pay off one installment in December to ease my guilt and thats it, 10K in the back pocket thanks to Y2K. And Bobs your Father brother.
