ECDL = European Computer Driving Licence. A standard certificate recognised across the EU. Comprises 7 modules ranging form word processing to internet. Fairly basic but when you've covered the full set you're actually quite a competent computer user. The Information Age Town Committee put a chunk of the IAT prize money into computer based training CDs which can be rented at the Chamber of Commerce, Spencer Street (next to Gavins video). Deposit £45 and £40 back when you return the CD-ROM. These disks would normally cost well over £100.
