OK Joseph you wanted a more serious mosting so here goes (Hopefully I wont make any typing mistakes with my "unicorn stick" or ill have to go on the run before the typing police come back to cut off my head)
Imagine Castlebar the week a Mayo team wins the all-Ireland.
Everywhere you went would be red and green. All normal activity would cease as people nursed hangovers. When the victorious team arrived home at least 70% of the Town's population would be on the street to welcome the hero's home and the following day Everyone(that drinks)would still have hangovers.
Well actually not quite,
Last Sunday a Mayo team DID win the all-Ireland and I could count on the fingers of one hand (If the typing police hadnt cut them off) the number of houses that had Mayo flags up !
So why Is this ? Is it less of an achievment because the players were Women
and it wasnt the "real" All-Ireland. What do you all think ?
