Thanks for all the comments re new bulletin board test.
We will definitely change the type face and style - these are just
standard MS 'themes' at present. We will also add the links to the main page etc. as
before. We will drop the IP address display - anyone notice this? We'll put back the e-mail
address slot - not that we have a lot of takers in this department! We'll try the vertical
frames for a while anyway. We still have a few technical bits and pieces behind the scene
also - e.g. how quickly can we remove a dodgy posting! The other technical detail is to get
cgi running on the server and see how fast it is compared with the native MS system. It could be a
few days before all this comes to pass so in the meantime we'll return here to the main bulletin
board. Trial ended.
