MWR are not funded by that legalised protection racket that is the licence fee. If you dont like MWR, CRC, Today FM ,Galway Bay FM or even Choice FM you can vote with your tuning dial but even if you never listen to or watch RTE you have to pay for it.
The quality of programmes on RTE is no better than the "independent" stations. So why should the taxpayer have to finance it ?
