Given the Pay rises that TD's are always getting
(No cries of "Partnership"and "relativities "here) and the "revelations" about Haughy and the rest of them. Its no wonder that Gerry and his Loyalist counterparts are moving from "armed struggle" to "the mainstream political process"
After all The shinners needed a private army (allegedly) for carrying out bank robberies (allegedly) but Charlie was robbing even more money with less effort and personal risk.
Gerry may refuse to take the oath for the British parliament but I bet he doesnt turn down the MP's salary !
