I think they would withdraw tomorrow If they could find a face-saving way of doing so and If they were sure a civil war wouldnt follow.
Of course the fact that the majority In N.I. want them there doesnt matter to them (I dont think the British establishment much less the British Public) feels any obligation to their "fellow UK citizens"
Whether the British SHOULD withdraw is another matter but lets agree to differ on this last point.
