Check out another book aslo, called "The White Seahorse". A more fictional account but fascinating nevertheless of the life of Grace O'Malley. Apparently (possibly from Ann Chambers book) it was noted that when she met Elizabeth I in Greenwich (Just down the road from me here) the Queen couldn't speak Irish (Cheek of her and her claiming to be Queen of Britain and Ireland!) and Grainne couldn't speak English so they conversed in Latin (Per functus ya boy ya!!)
Also, a few of us are wondering what HAS happened to the e-mail directory?? Please please, surely you must have over 100 names by now.
