Today's RTE Online (10, May, 2000) says.....
"Garda Commissioner criticises Garda appearance"
The Garda Commissioner says that he is particularly concerned about the way plain clothes Gardaí dress for court appearances. Pat Byrne told the GRA conference in Westport that a slovenly and improperly dressed Garda looses respect and he intends to address the issue in the next few weeks.
Do you think the Garda needs to polish up its image?
