Dont quote me on this but I think that since Spain are in the Euro (they are arent they ?) your best bet would be to Convert your Punts into Euro's and change them to Peseta's when you get to Spain since the banks arent allowed (so Im told ?) charge commision on Euro transactions.
Unfortunately this didnt work for me when I "emigrated" up North (Damn Eurosceptics) and last time I checked the banks were giving 1.28 exchange rate in one direction but only 1.23 in the Other (B******s)
