I remember from my time in college that there were a number of newspapers of a militant nature. Most of the main cities in the country have talk shows which allow fairly unhindered airing of views. Similarly there are various fringe papers, some militant such as Socialist Worker, others more eco friendly (forget the name of that one). There are magazines such as Magill who tend to get themselves in the High Court quiet often for having a laugh. All the main papers publish letters to the editor although these can be pretty tame.
So I take it you've no problem losing your anonymity in order to express your opinion ?
One flaw I find with most media is that its very Dublin centric but thats a differnt issue.
