Woke up early and felt energised.
Decided to spring clean. Big mistake.
Found half full fag pack (lost 6 weeks earlier) under sofa cushion. Dilemma.
have been able to concentrate on little else since.
One the one hand;
Keep thinking how each of five fags in box represents hard work of underprevilleged underpaid tobacco workers
- thus throwing this hard work in bin is disrepectful to struggle and selfish.
On the same hand,
can't help feeling that a higher power placed manna under cushion (with accompanying lighter) as a sign that quiting is wrong.
Eventually phoned friend for moral support and advice on 'find'.
friend laughed and said it was funniest thing he'd heard in ages.
Next, tried number of quit helpline but it's permanently engaged.
It is going to be a long day
