Well if we revived the Republic of Connaught we could enter the European Federation as THREE states :-)
But seriously as Europe becomes increacingly integrated people are going to have to pay more attention to European affairs. There is very little public debate or awareness about what goes on in the European parliament at the moment. more power needs to be transfered from the (appointed) Commision and Council of ministers to the (elected) European parliament.
In general European Integration needs to happen but there should also be more debate about how to preserve accountability and democracy.
