Couldn't have said it better myself Mike - Noted an interesting theory on one of the Olympic boards tho, speculating as to why no American's have even been done for drugs.
In the infamous year of Ben Johnson at least one high profile American (FGJ - R.I.P. springs to mind perhaps?) was also allegedly done but the IOC didn't act on it because the US, particular corporate America, threatened to withdraw sponsorsip - And sure what would the Olympics be without American bankrolling?
So I guess we'll never see an US compeditor caught for drug use.
