If the two party system in America, both sides backed by the same corporate interests, isn't stopped - the results will be far more tragic. A vote for Bush OR GORE, is a vote for BUSINESS AS USUAL.
If America is to break the strangle hold that American corporations have on our government, we must be willing to take serious risks.
The scare tactic being used is that if the Republicans win, the environment will be more seriously damaged - possibly true. But if "business as usual" in American politics continues, the results will be devastating!!!
No progress can be made until the corporate controlled "Republican-Democrat" party is weakened and US voters are given other choices.
Gore Vidal, is also a relative of Al Gore, the the "Gore" in both their names, is no coincidence.
