I'll tell ya something - I was in Cosmos for the first time in ages on Saturday and my God that place is pants! I couldn't get over how terribly terribe it was. The fact that I wasn't drinking probably was the source of my pain, but jesus!
One other thing - I forgot how ignorant people in night clubs are in Castlebar in comparison to Dublin - if someone bumped you on the dance floor in Dublin, the first thing they'll do is turn around and apologise and make sure you're cool. In Castlebar, I took an elbow to the head (whici broke my glasses) and the red-neck never even noticed. Note to night club owners - Red Necks (i.e. 75% of the patrons from Cosmos) should be shot on site and not let in to your establishment as they're RED NECKS! ; )
