My abiding memory of the Paddy's day parade (as a triangle player in St. Patrick's BNS) was of a certian female teacher (who we wont name), lets call her Mary. This female teacher put the fear of God into all the parading boy's, telling us to keep looking straight ahead, and dont smile (even if your parents want to take a pic). Hence the family photo albums all contain pictures of me on Paddy's day with a face that would curdle milk.
