This Thursday evening (8 March 2007) at 8.00pm sharp in room Sr14 @ GMIT Castlebar members are looking forward to the visit of leading Enniskillen based photographer, Anne Cassidy to the club. Anne will be showing a selection of her work and talking about the taking of the images and her talk promises to be the highlight of the Camera Club year. There will be a small cover charge to defray the costs of the evening, but if you are interested in high quality photography room Sr14 on Thursday evening is the place to be.

As expected last Thursday evenings club competition on a theme of Architecture was very well done by those who entered and the results are as follows;

Black & White: 3rd & 2nd. places; Michael Gannon. 1st place : Martin Stepanek.
Colour: 3rd. Frances Rosser, 2nd. Sheridan Gilmartin, 1st; Martin Stepanek.

Next month's competition has been set as an open competition with a sub theme of moonlight. Should be interesting and challenging.

As the days lengthen with the arrival of Spring members thoughts inclining to outdoor photography and the club has several interesting outings in its program for the next couple of months. Do not miss the fun so come along on Thursday evenings to hear all about it.
