This Thursday evening (19 Oct) in room SR14,GMIT@ Castlebar, Castlebar Camera Club members meet at 8.00pm sharp for a competition night with a theme of Summer 06. The usual categories apply, colour prints, colour slides, & monochrome prints. Print entries must be card mounted not more than 8x6 and entrants name & print title on rear. Members are also reminded to bring their Monochrome prints for selection for the Clubs National Shield competition which will be held in Portlaoise on Sunday 12th. November next.

Some members also attended a Distinctions workshop in Mountmellick on Saturday 7th. October last. They found the workshop very helpful andit is hoped thar all our applicants for Distinctions will be successful.

On Sunday 22nd October, the club will be holding an Autumn Leaves outing to try and capture the glories of Nature at this lovely time of year.
