The new season at Castlebar Camera Club got off to a flying start last Thursday when a great turnout of members enjoyed  the club's first ever picture parade. Members produced a great selection of images on colour slide, digital projection and print and gave newcomers to the club an idea of the club standards.

We thank all who contributed images and especially those whose first time at the club, was marked by their first showing of their work.

Next Thursday Thursday 27th Sep we will be having a Photo Hunt. This has been thought up by member Chris Reilly who will give details to all in Room SR14 GMIT, Castlebar @ 8.00pm sharp. Members are reminded to bring cameras, flash guns and tripods as they will be required. At the time of writing thats the extent of our knowledge of this event so come along and join in the fun.

A beginners class for newcomers to photography is scheduled to begin in early October, if you are interested contact Michael on 087-6360212 or drop in to the club any Thursday evening. You will be most welcome.
