After the advanced challenges in creative photography shown by guest lecturer Rikki O'Neill from Scotland last Monday evening in The Regional Training Centre, Castlebar, all who attended will have to settle down to the normal run of club fare this week. Some pictures from this occasion can be seen  on The Club Web page under photography on www.castlebar.ie .

We kick off on Tuesday evening with the continuing beginners' classes. This week the topic will be Landscape and will be illustrated with projected images to help get the message across. Our beginners' class is a very stimulating one and there is plenty of lively debate between the presenters and the beginners with questions galore being asked and answered.

Thursday's club session will be the monthly competition on a theme of dereliction. This will be in the usual 3 categories, colour print, colour slide and monochrome images. It promises to be an interesting evening and many differing ways of expressing this theme are expected to be on show. Prints not bigger than 8x6 and card mounted with max of three entries in each category.

Both evenings start at 8.00pm sharp in room SR14, GMIT, Castlebar, we look forward to seeing you there.
