Members are reminded that the Castlebar Camera Clubs weekly meetings recommence this Thursday evening 11 Jan 2007 @ 8.00pm sharp in room SR14, GMIT Castlebar. The highlight of the evenings activities will be the latest round in the clubs monthly competition on a theme of "Reflections", the usual rules apply, 3 entries per category, colour prints, black & white prints & slides/projected images. Maximum print size 8x6 mounted on card.

There will be a rush from the meeting that evening as at 10.15pm on RTE ONE TV the story of the Northabout's voyage across the roof of Russia will be shown. Club member Rory Casey was also a crew member for this historic voyage and we have seen his photographs from this great adventure and we hope a repeat performance during the coming season in The Camera Club will be a distinct possibility.
