This Thursday evening February 28th. the club will be holding the 5th round of its Photographer of the Year Competition. This weeks theme is low light which is interpreted as being either side of sunset or sunrise with natural light still in the sky.

Categories are as always, colour print, colour slides and black and white prints. Maximum print size 8x6 mounted on plain card mounts with 3 entries per section. We look forward to seeing how members deal with this tricky subject and a great nights photography is in store for all. The meetings now start at 7.45pm sharp so that we can finish by 9.45pm, to comply with College closing times.

Last Thursday club members joined with members of Bird-Watch Ireland for a triple showing of landscape, Natural History and Bird life images presented by one of Ireland's leading Nature Photographers, Mike Browne, from Co. Cork who has been involved in the successful T.V. series Wild Trials. Mike gave a great show, signed copies of his latest book for willing purchasers.
