A double helping of photograpy is in store for Camera Club members & friends this week as on Wednesday 4th October in The Linenhall Arts Centre, Castlebar, @ 8.30pm.The club will be presenting an illustrated lecture by leading U.K. photographer Margaret Salisbury.

Margaret who is from Wales, Is Chairperson of the Distinctions Committee of the Royal Photographic Society and is sponsored on her lecture tours in the U.K. by Photospeed a well known supplier of photographic materials both traditional & digital. This is an evening not to be missed as Margaret will be showing a selection of her work & explaining the rational behind the images shown.

All of the above for a modest €5.00 per head, see you there.

As if that is not enough the indefatigable members will meet again on Thursday 5th in Room Sr14@ GMIT, Castlebar For a further evenings work on their distinctions panels which are slowly being prepared for judgement day in November.

Not forgetting the practical members will attend the Westport Street Fair on Saturday 30th. September & Ballinasloe Horse fair on Sunday 1st. October, we look forward to seeing the images members bring back.
