Members are looking forward to a double helping of matters photographic this week with the usual club meeting on Thursday 22nd when the entries for the Clubs National league entries will be under the microscope. Members are reminded to bring the entries previously submitted in January last and any further new prints they would like to have considered for selection.

  On Friday evening 23rd the club is getting together for an "Indian" night, meeting at 8.00pm in Tucker Street. If any member has not booked would they please contact Michael on 087-6360212 to hear the full details.

 Last Thursday evening Eamonn Mc Carthy led the members through two hours of studio flash portraiture. Our sincere thanks to Eamonn for this session and to our models on the night, Ray Wiseman, Olga Zapletalova and Martin Stepanek, all photographers themselves. Each of the models got the oppertunity to practise their photography using the studio set up before the session ended, getting their own back on one another and the members present, adding greatly to the fun and enjoyment for all.

  Castlebar Camera Club meets each Thursday evening at 8.00pm in Rooom SR14, GMIT, Castlebar, come along and join in the fun.
