Camera Club Notes - 10 January 2008

After the Christmas and New Year break meetings resumed on Thursday 10th January. Members were treated to a lovely display of high class images used by our recently successful photographers who gained their Irish Photographic Federation Distinctions. Panels were displayed by Chris Reilly, Michael Gannon, Frances Rosser, Derville Conroy, Sheridan Gilmartin and John Walsh all of whom carry the letters LIPF after their names.

The Club steering committee have put together a varied and interesting program for the months ahead and this will be formally launched on Thursday evening January 17th at 8.00pm sharp in room Sr14, GMIT, Castlebar. Members who are new to the club are invited to bring in a selection of their images for viewing. The images may be on disc, or in print form and these images will be looked at with a view to making up panels for the upcoming IPF National League competition.

Club nights are entertaining, informative and even competitive, so if you are an experienced photographer, beginner or somewhere in between, do not hesitate to drop in to our Thursday evening meetings at the above venue. You will be most welcome.
