Members of the Camera Clubs steering committee met recently to draw up the program for the new season starting in September.
The season kicks off on Thursday 20th September with a picture parade evening showing a selection of images from the clubs photographers. Thursday 27th sends members off on a photo hunt? More details later. The first monthly competition for club photographer of the year is on 4th. October - theme "Abstract", followed on Thusday 11th October by a members' night where non distinction holders will show off their latest images, and the season continues in this vein with a possible highlight being a talk by famed Scottish photographer Rikki O'Neill, venue and time for this to be announced later.
In October the Club will be holding a Digital based basic Beginners Course, this will run for 6 weeks and aims to help newcomers to Digital photography get up and running. Watch this space for more details.
