Castlebar Celtic v Carew Park - Celtic Park is the venue Sunday 22nd January 2006 - 6th Round FAI Junior Cup

These are exciting times for Castlebar Celtic Football Club. The club has
one trophy already safely secured this season, while are still gunning on
three fronts for the AIB Challenge Cup, Connaught Junior Cup, and the
Statoil FAI Junior Cup.

It's the FAI Junior Cup which takes center stage next Sunday as Celtic
face Carew Park of Limerick in the 6th Round at Celtic Park in a bid to
reach the last sixteen of the competition.

Now under the leadership of former Sligo Rovers player and Finn Harps
manager, Gavin Dykes, there has been a massive reversal of form within
the team. Celtic impressively overcame Erris United, Killala, Ballina
Town and Dublin outfit Sherrif YC to reach this stage of the competition,
but certainly face their toughest tie yet in last year's FAI Junior Cup
semi-finalist Carew Park.

The addition to the squad of Ciaran Kelly, Joey Maloney, Barry O' Dwyer
Ger Burke, Keith Carty and player-manager Gavin Dykes along with the good
form of ever-present players Dara Ainsworth, Fintan McHale, Steven Ryan,
Russell Gibbons, Declan Reilly, Sean McHale, Pat Neary, Kieran Hopkins,
Shane Hynes, Eamon Crean, Stephen Jennings and Padraig Crean has
certainly heightened Celtic's hopes of landing the national title.

The club is calling on the people of Castlebar to show their support for
their local club by attending the match on Sunday in what should be an
thrilling encounter against two entertaining sides and an excellent way
to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon.

Kick-off is at 2PM at Celtic Park next Sunday January 22nd.
