BREAFFY GAA CLUB NEWS

2000 A.G.M. REPORT

The 47th A.G.M. of the Breaffy GAA Club took place in the Community Centre Breaffy on Friday night November 19th at 8.30 p.m. There was a large and representative attendance from all corners of the Club area.

In his address Club President Tom Fahey welcomed everyone, especially Tommy Lyons who worked hard for the club in times past. Secretary Donal Gallagher read the minutes of the last AGM, which were duly adopted by the meeting. He then proceeded to give proceeded to give a comprehensive report of the club's activities for the past year.

Chairman Gerry Bourke, who is stepping down, thanked everyone who had worked with him over the past three year term- especially those who were putting in such a hugh effort with the Club Development Lotto.

Treasurer Paul Fahey presented the figures for the year, which showed that the Club is now well placed to proceed with it's ambitious development plans for the playing field in Ballyheane and the Clubhouse in Breaffy.

PRO Kevin McGing, who is also stepping down having completed his three year term thanked all who had co-operated with him during his term.
