Two raw beginners in their first year had their first taste of sucess with the best overall score over the two nights. Francis Price and Ita Mongan win Pauline Casey's President's Prize for 2012.

They proved to be very popular winners; edging out such favourites as Helen and Ray Norton, Cris Casey and Maureen Flynn, Ronnie and Mary Lawlor and even their teacher Kay Stewart and Margo Fitgerald.

A great final night was had by all thanks to Pauline, Cris and their committee in the Harlequin Hotel.
